San Francisco sojourn

Visiting San Francisco is a delight at any time of year, and one of the best ways of moving around San Francisco and seeing the sights is with a charter bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coaches or school bus rented from Bus Rentals San Francisco.
San Francisco rivals New York in terms of worldwide recognizability. The star and background to countless movies and novels, San Francisco is home to many of the most recognizable and familiar landmarks, buildings and neighborhoods. As one of the most liberal cities in the world, San Francisco has always been home to one of the most cosmopolitan populations of any city in the United States.
Most people start their visit in San Francisco with a visit to Fisherman’s Wharf. Encompassing Ghirardelli Square, Pier 39 and the Municipal Pier, over 12 million tourists visit Fisherman’s Wharf each year. Numerous attractions and several well known seafood restaurants are the draw here, along with the Maritime Museum and Chocolate Factory. Fisherman’s Wharf is also the setting off point for the ferry to the infamous Alcatraz Island.
Get into your rental bus and head over the Golden Gate Bridge. This San Francisco icon is a favorite with tourists, and has been referred to as one of the seven wonders of the modern world. The twin 746 foot towers and graceful sweep of the cables holding up the twin span bridge are a tourist’s must have in terms of holiday snapshots. Bridge tours are available depending on weather conditions.
San Francisco’s Chinatown is home to one of the oldest Chinese communities in the United States. Established by Chinese immigrant workers in the 1850s, Chinatown today is a vibrant community known for its produce markets and restaurants. You can shop here to find imported Oriental goods ranging from dried and preserved foodstuff to silks and household wares. Eating in Chinatown in an experience, and you will find both small family run stand up and eat places to full service fine dining establishments.
For a taste of San Francisco’s nightlife, Castro and The Mission are places you should visit. Using your rental bus, drop by Castro, the center of San Francisco’s LGBT community. In Castro you will find many trendy boutiques and shops, and bars and clubs that serve up drinks and entertainment in equal measure. The Mission is home to much of San Francisco’s Hispanic community, and is the place where many locals head to for nightlife. A little off the beaten track for tourists, the Mission is a good place to get into the vibe of San Francisco, away from the usual tourist traps.
