Visiting San Francisco is a delight at any time of year, and one of the best ways of moving around San Francisco and seeing the sights is with a charter bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coaches or school bus rented from Bus Rentals San Francisco.
San Francisco rivals New York in terms of worldwide recognizability. The star and background to countless movies and novels, San Francisco is home to many of the most recognizable and familiar landmarks, buildings and neighborhoods. As one of the most liberal cities in the world, San Francisco has always been home to one of the most cosmopolitan populations of any city in the United States.
Most people start their visit in San Francisco with a visit to Fisherman’s Wharf. Encompassing Ghirardelli Square, Pier 39 and the Municipal Pier, over 12 million tourists visit Fisherman’s Wharf each year. Numerous attractions and several well known seafood restaurants are the draw here, along with the Maritime Museum and Chocolate Factory. Fisherman’s Wharf is also the setting off point for the ferry to the infamous Alcatraz Island.
Get into your rental bus and head over the Golden Gate Bridge. This San Francisco icon is a favorite with tourists, and has been referred to as one of the seven wonders of the modern world. The twin 746 foot towers and graceful sweep of the cables holding up the twin span bridge are a tourist’s must have in terms of holiday snapshots. Bridge tours are available depending on weather conditions.
San Francisco’s Chinatown is home to one of the oldest Chinese communities in the United States. Established by Chinese immigrant workers in the 1850s, Chinatown today is a vibrant community known for its produce markets and restaurants. You can shop here to find imported Oriental goods ranging from dried and preserved foodstuff to silks and household wares. Eating in Chinatown in an experience, and you will find both small family run stand up and eat places to full service fine dining establishments.
For a taste of San Francisco’s nightlife, Castro and The Mission are places you should visit. Using your rental bus, drop by Castro, the center of San Francisco’s LGBT community. In Castro you will find many trendy boutiques and shops, and bars and clubs that serve up drinks and entertainment in equal measure. What is San Francisco really like
If there was one word that we can use to describe the lifestyle in San Francisco, it  would be contemporary. Different, laid-back and completely absorbed by luxury. The standard of living in San Francisco has already rose tremendously over the years with many blue-collar neighborhoods popping up adjacent the downtown area. If you take a bus from Bus Rental San Francisco, get the bus driver to take you to some upscale restaurant or grand mall, you will see that for yourself. The malls are magnificently larger than life, neighborhoods turned from 'some silly little corner on the outskirts' to up-and-coming trend-setting neighborhood.
Because of the sheer size of San Francisco, we strongly recommend groups to use bus rental. San Francisco may not be hard to navigate, we recommend group transportation services because it makes life simpler, better and nobody wants to get all stressed out with public transportation during a vacation.
San Francisco – It's where the art lives
Without a smidgen of doubt, it sometimes feel like San Francisco is the heart of art. From ballet to jazz, street performers to rock bands, from film-making to art...it's all here.

Opaque Restaurant - experience a darker side of San Francisco

Visiting San Francisco in a rented charter bus for a short vacation with family and friends is always a sheer visual delight. To ensure you don’t miss out, book your bus or limo ticket today with Bus Rentals San Francisco. From the awe inspiring splendor of the Golden Gate Bridge, the majestic views of San Francisco Bay, the colorful flower-filled yet twisty stretch of road, Lombard Street to the row of beautiful “Painted Ladies” Victorian houses located Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, once you’ve seen San Francisco, you’ll never forget it.
But what if you can’t see? How would you relate to all the different stimuli around you? Well, the founders of “Opaque”, a unique restaurant in San Francisco wondered about that too and decided to create a dining experience in the dark that takes you on a spectacular journey of taste which will enhance your world of senses. Tour bus vacationers always go back home yearning for more of this restaurant and fervently recommend it to their family and friends back home.
The sojourn starts from the very moment you get off the bus rental vehicle. Your experience of not having use of your visual senses starts after you order at the lobby. Diners then descend a staircase into the restaurant, blindfolded and led to your tables by a visually impaired server, hand-on- shoulder thru the darkness through the restaurant.
The servers are all blind or visually-impaired and they have a clever system to bring you your food and clear dishes in the dark. Their service is smooth and professional and the food is delicious, with a prix fixe $99 (fixed price) for a number of entree choices, 2 appetizers and 2 desserts, plus an amuse bouche and a platter of mystery dips and veggies to get you used to tasting without seeing the food. It is a promising tourist bus rental must-try!
The most daunting part of the experience is learning to use a knife and fork in the dark and at some point most diners usually dispense with their utensils and start to use their fingers for some of the meal, making for a fun experience that really awakens your senses, the smell and taste and even the sound of the food.
So if you think you’ve seen it all and are looking for a fresh new experience in San Francisco, book your ticket by bus or limo with Bus Rentals San Francisco. Don’t worry, our drivers are the utmost of professionals and keep both their eyes peeled on the road ad will leave that experience in the dark solely for you to enjoy.

Golden Gate Bridge Views

When one mentions San Francisco, a few iconic images usually come to mind. They are recognised the world over, and are synonymous with the city by the bay. The view is so gorgeous even when you are looking out of the window, rolling by in the rented charter bus, tour bus, party bus or school bus. A view anyone will kill for, honestly speaking.
One of these icons is something you will undoubtedly see as you approach San Francisco with Bus Rentals San Francisco would be the Golden Gate Bridge. Spanning the opening of San Francisco Bay to the Pacific Ocean, the bridge links the city to Marin County.
There are a few different ways you can see the bridge in all its splendor. Head over to Hyde Street Pier, close to Ghiradelli Square and look west to see the bridge or go down to Pier 39. You don't even have to get off the charter bus, tour bus, party bus, coach bus or passenger coach to do this – that's what amazing about the whole thing!
You can drive by or ride by on the bridge and marvel at the supports that reach up into the sky and try and keep count of the number of steel cables that hold the bridge up.
If you want to take pictures of the bridge, then you could also go to the Marin Headlands at Golden Gate National Recreation Area in the charter bus, coach charter, rented party bus or school bus. The view from the headlands is what most people refer to when thinking of the bridge, as that is where many photographers and filmmakers have gone to get their shots.
You can also cycle or walk across the bridge, either by going one way, to Sausalito and then taking the ferry back or by choosing the more adventurous or fit way by cycling both ways.
If you’re walking or cycling, keep a look out for the suicide phones. These emergency phones have been placed at either end of the bridge to let people who want to end their life by jump from the bridge’s great height, that they have other options. As somber as the idea sounds, it still continues to make the place an interesting place to visit in a charter bus or party bus.
Every visit to the bay area is a trip that will be unforgettable so explore the city and its sights with Bus Rentals San Francisco and you’ll want to keep coming back for more.
